Nicéphore Niépce

  Nicephore Niepce was born March 7, 1765. His birth name was Joseph Niepce. He was one of the inventors of photography. He was best known for "View from the Window at Le Gras". It was the world's first photograph. The photograph was taken from his window. It took eight hours for exposure. It was taken in the year 1826. It is now kept in the University of Texas.
